Our prediction for this Africa Cup of Nations 2022 match:
Ivory Coast will be looking to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Niger when they take on Ethiopia at Tigray Stadium in their second group game. The Elephants scored the winner from the penalty spot in their opener, but their performance in the triumph over Niger was anything but promising. Ivory Coast, though, are seen as favourites to win Tuesday’s qualifier against Ethiopia, and we predict that they are going to prove their worth on the field.
A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Tottenham full-back Serge Aurier, who is likely to pose a big threat for the opposition defenders. Ethiopia, on the other hand, suffered a 1-0 loss to Madagascar in the opening match of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Elephants.
Highlighted Player (Eric Bailly):

Eric Bailly started his youth career at Espanyol and he made five league appearances for the first team as well. In 2015 he joined fellow La Liga side Villarreal and after playing 35 league games for the Camp El Madrigal outfit, the Ivory Coast defenders signed a four-year contract with Manchester United.
Eric Bailly is well known for his speed and he is very strong physically. He plays as a centre back, but he is capable of playing as a full back if needed as well. Bailly made his Ivory Coast debut on 11 January, 2015 in a friendly game against Nigeria. The 187-cm-tall defender represented the Elephants at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and, no doubt, he helped the team win the prestigious trophy at the tournament in Equatorial Guinea.
Eric Bailly participated in the 2016 Community Shield final and it has to be noted that Manchester United defeated Leicester City 2-1 in the Wembley Stadium clash.
Highlighted Team (Ivory Coast):

Over the years Ivory Coast have established themselves as one of the best African teams. The Elephants won their second Africa Cup of Nations trophy in 2015, with the team beating Ghana in the final of the tournament. Ivory Coast defeated the Black Stars on penalties and it has to be noted that goalkeeper Boubacar Barry scored the winner.
A number of high-profile footballers played (or play) for the Ivory Coast national team, but, no doubt, the most notable players are Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure, Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Eboue, Salomon Kalou and Gervinho. Ivory Coast are well known for their orange kit, but they play their away games in green shirts and green shorts. Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny is regarded as the team’s home stadium.
Didier Zokora is the player with the most caps for the Ivory Coast national team (123), while aforementioned attacker Didier Drogba is the team’s top scorer (65 goals). Drogba is the symbol of the Ivory Coast football and the former Chelsea man played for the national team from 2002 to 2014.
