Our prediction for this Africa Cup of Nations 2021 match:
Ivory Coast and Madagascar go head to head in the AFCON qualifiers Group K in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of Thursday’s program. The Elephants aim to bounce back from a shocking loss to Ethiopia, and we are positive that they will leave their hearts on the field against Madagascar. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha, who has been scoring goals for fun in the Premier League this season. Goalkeepers Eliezer Ira Tape and Abdoul Cisse Karim are the only home-based players in the Ivory Coast squad.
Madagascar, on the other hand, aim to keep their 100% record in Group K intact, but the Elephants are likely to pose a much bigger threat for the Barea than their previous rivals. In their last meeting in a competitive match Ivory Coast crushed Madagascar 3-0, and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself. Ivory Coast defenders should have Paris FC midfielder Lalaina Nomenjanahary at bay.

Romain Metanire helped Reims secure automatic promotion to the Ligue 1 in the 2017/2018 season. Reims clinched top position in the Ligue 2 in style, 15 points clear Nimes, but the following season Metanire made only five appearances in the French elite division.
Highlighted Team (Madagascar):
Nicknamed the Barea, Madagascar are the African national team that affiliates to CAF (Confederation of African Football). Madagascar made their debut on the international stage in 1947, with the team suffering a 2-1 loss to Mauritius in front of home fans.
The Barea wear green shirts and green shorts when playing at home, whilst their away colours are red and white. Madagascar have never participate at the FIFA World Cup finals, but in 2019 they qualified for their first ever Africa Cup of Nations.
The Barea were grouped with the likes of Nigeria, Burundi and Guinea, with the team making their debut at the tournament against the National Elephants. Speaking of Madagascar’s titles, the Barea did well to win two Indian Ocean Island Games (1990, 1993), with the team beating the likes of Mauritius and Reunion in the title games respectively. Madagascar are affiliated to both CAF (confederation) and COSAFA (sub-confederation).
