Our prediction for this Africa Cup of Nations 2021 match:
Senegal will be looking to cement top position in Group I when they take on Guinea Bissau in the AFCON qualifier on Wednesday afternoon. The Lions of Teranga have established themselves as one of the dominant forces in African football, but they can’t afford any complacency in the qualifiers against Guinea Bissau. The great news for the hosts is that Liverpool ace Sadio Mane is back after missing the Morocco friendly due to coronavirus infection.
Diao Balde Keita returns to contention as well, with Reims Boulaye Dia receiving a call-up thanks to his brilliant displays in the Ligue 1. Guinea Bissau kicked off their qualifying campaign with a routine 3-0 win over Eswatini, but they experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Congo. The Djurtus face yet another uphill task in Wednesday’s clash, and seeing that Mane is back for the Lions of Teranga, home win should be considered.
Highlighted Player (Sadio Mané):

Sadio Mane is a Senegalese footballer who plays for Liverpool as a winger. Mane was born in Sedhiou Senegal on April 10, 1992, but he made his senior debut at French club Metz. In 2012 he moved to Red Bull Salzburg, with the pacey winger scoring 31 goals in 63 appearances for the club in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Mane then decided to take a step forward in his career as he joined famous Premier League club Liverpool for a fee of £34 million, signing a five-year contract with the Reds. The Senegal international quickly established himself as a first-team regular at Liverpool and, no doubt, he helped the Anfield outfit make it to the 2017/2018 Champions League final.
Speaking of trophies, Sadio Mane won the Austrian Bundesliga with Salzburg in the 2013/2014 season. In 2017 he was named Liverpool player of the year for the 2016/2017 season. Sadio Mane made his Senegal debut in 2012 and he was part of the Senegal team that participated at the 2012 Olympic tournament.
Highlighted Team (Guinea Bissau):

Guinea-Bissau are an African football team that is controlled by Federacao de Futebol de Guine-Bissau. The Djutrus have never participated in the World Cup finals, but they did well to qualify for the 2017 African Cup of Nations.
Guinea-Bissau impressed in their qualifying group, with the team finishing the process in top position, leaving the likes of Congo, Zambia and Kenya behind them in Group E. The team play their home games at Estadio 24 de Setembro and Estadio Lino Correia and the colour of their home kit is red. Guinea-Bissau play their away matches in green shirts and green shorts. The likes of Edson Ricardo Nunes Correia Silva, Gerso Fernandes, Lassana Camara, Almami Moreira, Bocundji Ca, Eridson, Luciano Teixeira and Esmael Goncalves are some of Guinea-Bissau’s most notable players.
The Djutrus recorded their biggest win against Benin (7-2) on 3 November, 2001, while they suffered their biggest loss against Mali (1-6) in 1997. Guinea-Bissau played under the name of Portuguese Guinea in the past.
