Our match prediction:
Athletic Bilbao were on the verge of suffering a loss to rock-bottom Levante at the weekend, but they scored two late goals in the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia clash and eventually shared the spoils with los Levantinos (2-2). The Lions are on the right track to book their place in the Europa League and they will be looking to get their job done with a victory over Celta Vigo. Os Celeste recorded a 2-1 win over Granada on Monday night and they are widely expected to take part in the 2016/2017 Europa League campaign as well. As things stand now, both sides will be happy with one point from Monday’s game at Estadio de Balaidos and we predict that they will share the spoils in the Basque Country. Athletic Bilbao head into the game without key attacker Aritz Aduriz and, no doubt, the hosts will rely on their defence in the clash against Celta.
