Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Atletico Madrid failed to impress in Wednesday’s clash against Athletic Bilbao, but thanks to Fernando Torres’ goal los Rojiblancos stayed in the race for the La Liga trophy. The capital club are level on points with league leaders Barcelona, meaning that they need to keep on winning if they are to regain the trophy they won two seasons ago. It is well known that Atletico Madrid have turned their Estadio Vicente Calderon into a real fortress and considering that their next rivals Malaga have been struggling in La Liga of late, we predict that Diego Simeone’s troops will emerge triumphant in Saturday’s football game. Los Rojiblancos are on a four-game winning run in the national championship and the fact that they scored exactly three goals in each of their last four home games is giving the fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Malaga.
