Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
Gent desperately needed a win against Standard Liege, and they managed to get one. De Buffalo’s regained a much-needed confidence, but they need to keep on improving their game if they are to move a little closer to the playoffs berth. The likes of De Bruyn, Depoitre, and Niangbo are all likely to miss the match with injury, while Mbayo has been tested positive for coronavirus.
Waasland-Beveren, on the other hand, have been in a splendid form of late, with the team recording a win in each of their previous three league fixtures. The visitors are likely to stick to their attacking style of play, but we are tempted to put our money on the hosts this time out as they proved their worth in the triumph over the Red Devils. In their last meeting in the Belgian top flight Gent rolled over Waasland-Beveren 4-1. Albania international Din Sula remains in the recovery room for the visitors.
