Our match prediction:
Bologna have made a real mess out of the current Serie A campaign and the only reason why they probably will not suffer the ultimate punishment of relegation is because there have been three sides that done even worse throughout the season. A seven-point cushion between Felsinei and the relegation zone should prove enough to survive, but they have every reason to be concerned by the recent slump in form, with 6-0 loss to Napoli extending their winless run to nine games. Bologna will now be up against revived Genoa, who, unlike their next opponents, have shown a great deal of improvement during the business end of the season, recording no fewer than five wins in last seven league matches to climb to the top half of the standings. It has to be noted though that the Gialloblu have been far from impressive on the road, losing five of last six away games, and that is the main reason why we predict the match to end in draw.
