Our match prediction:
Hertha managed to grab a point from their clash against Wolfsburg on Saturday thanks to Salomon Kalou (1-1). Die Alte Dame failed to triumph in their fifth consecutive match in the Bundesliga, but moved a place up the scale, thanks to Leverkusen’s defeat against Dortmund. In order to remain in the top three, Pál Dárdai’s charges need to start winning soon, especially bearing in mind the fact that a defeat in the forthcoming clash could pull them down deep, since they are just three points away from the seventh place. Koln presented themselves as worthy opponents to Borussia Monchengladbach, but Dahoud’s early goal decided the winner (1-0), leaving the Billy Goats in the 9th place in the table. Peter Stoger’s side are having the same problem as Hertha, they also need to win to stay in the upper half of the overall standings, which is why we predict an interesting match. Even though Hertha struggles on their travels lately, we expect them to repeat the success from their previous two visits to RheinEnergieStadion and record a close win.
