Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Bayer Leverkusen and Augsburg, the two teams who are almost level on points in the Bundesliga standings, face each other at BayArena in what is expected to be one of the most entertaining games of Saturday’s program. Heiko Herrlich’s troops recorded a 2-0 win over Stuttgart in their last home game in the German top flight, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Augsburg. The visitors, on the other hand, are on a three-game losing run in the national championship and they must be low on confidence ahead of the trip to Leverkusen. It is well known that over the years Bayer have turned their BayArena into a real fortress and we predict that they are going to emerge triumphant in Saturday’s football match. You should bear in mind, though, that in their last meeting in Leverkusen the two teams played out a goalless draw.

Highlighted Player (Julian Brandt):

Julian Brandt is one of the most promising wingers in Germany. He started playing football in his hometown, Bremen, at SC Borgfeld, moving to FC Oberneuland, after which he joined VLF Wolfsburg’s youth academy. With 27 goals in his 48 games during two seasons with the Wolves, Brandt recommended himself to Bayer 04 Leverkusen, signing a five-and-a-half-year contract in January 2014.
The 22-year-old winger prefers to play on the left flank, but he can also provide help on the right side, as well as an attacking midfielder. During the season 2015/2016, Julian Brandt netted goals in six consecutive games, becoming the youngest player since Gerd Muller to achieve this.
The good performances in the season made Joackim Low call the youngster in Germany’s preliminary 27-man squad for the Euro 2016 and he made his first appearance for the senior squad in May 2016, against Slovakia. He was a part of the Germany squad at the Summer Olympics, where Brandt and his teammates won the silver medal. In the summer of 2018, Julian Brandt made the World Cup team.
Highlighted Team (Augsburg):

Augsburg are a German football club founded in Augsburg, Bavaria back in 1907. Die Fuggerstadter play in German Bundesliga and with 12,200 members they are regarded as the largest football club in Bavaria. Augsburg wear white shirts and they host their rivals at WWK ARENA.
The capacity of the stadium is 30,660 and it has been the home of Augsburg since 2009. Augsburg won the Schwaben Cup 13 times and it has to be noted that they were promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time in 2011.
The club qualified for the Europa League 2015/2016 group stages and thanks to a 3-1 win over Partizan in Belgrade they booked their place in the last 32. However, Liverpool proved to be a big catch for the German outfit in the Europa League knockout stages.
Die Fuggerstadter’s main rivals are TSV 1860 Munich and there have always been fireworks when the two teams take on each other.
