Our match prediction:
Fresh from the Europa League triumph over Sporting Lisbon that saw die Werkself edge closer to the place in the last 16 stage, Bayer Leverkusen face another high-profile game as they play host to second-placed Borussia Dortmund. The Bay Arena outfit have done pretty well in the second part of the season, that is if we disregard the DFB Pokal loss to Werder Bremen, but while they currently occupy the third place in the standings, a two-point advantage over most top 4 rivals is hardly enough for a relaxed finish to the season. It will be difficult for die Werkself to cope without Javier Hernandez when they take on the Millionaires, but it is not as if they haven't got other quality attackers. BVB, on the other hand, have done really well of late, notching up three victories in a row, but even so, they will have to work hard if they want to defeat Bayer on the road, something that not even Bayern Munich were able to do. Therefore, we predict that the two teams will eventually cancel each other out.
