Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
There will be fireworks when Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munchen face each other at Signal-Iduna-Park on day 11 of the new Bundesliga campaign. The Millionaires continue to impress in the 2018/2019 season and thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 win over Wolfsburg they cemented top position in the standings. Lucien Favre’s men are four points clear of their bitter rivals ahead of the Bundesliga derby and they are surely brimming with confidence. Marco Reus, who scored the winner against Wolfsburg, is likely to pose a big threat for the opposition defenders. Bayern Munchen, on the other hand, dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Freiburg at the weekend and it is more than obvious that they play below expectations under Niko Kovac. Seeing that the Millionaires made a flying start to the season, we predict that they are going to hold the reigning champions to a draw in the Signal-Iduna-Park showdown.

Highlighted Player (Lukasz Piszczek):

Born on 3rd June 1985, Lukasz Piszczek is one of Poland’s most famous footballers at the moment, having made a name for himself thanks to some impressive performances for Borussia Dortmund. The full-back’s talent was spotted early on by Hertha scouts, and it is important to note that he began his career as a striker, winning the top goalscorer award at the Under-19 Euro in 2004.
Following some excellent displays at said tournament, Piszczek was signed by Hertha, but he would go on to spend next three years on loan at Zaglebie Lubin. After returning to the club, the Polish footballer played on the left wing, but then switched to right-back as Arne Friedrich got injured and has played there ever since.
In May 2010, Piszczek signed for Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer and has since developed into one of world’s leading right-sided defenders, sparking interest from clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United. The full-back made over 45 appearances for the national team since he was handed his debut in 2007, representing his country at three successive European Championship finals.
Highlighted Team (Bayern Munich):

Over the years Bayern Munich have established themselves as one of the most successful European clubs. The Stern des Sudens (Star of the South) are the dominant force in German football and it has to be noted that the Bavarians clinched their 26th Bundesliga title in 2016. Bayern Munich have won 18 German Cup trophies, while winning the Champions League (European Cup) five times.
The German giants clinched the Intercontinental Cup in 1976 and 2001, while lifting the FIFA Club World Cup trophy in 2013. Bayern Munich was founded in 1900 by eleven football players and their leader was Franz John. The Bavarians host their rivals at Allianz Arena (75,000), the stadium that was built in 2005.
Fellow Bavarian sides TSV 1860 Munchen 1860 and Nurnberg are regarded as Bayern Munich’s fiercest rivals, but the rivalry between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern is big as well. The likes of Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Franz Beckenbauer, Lothar Matthaus, Oliver Kahn, Gerd Muller and Giovane Elber are famous footballers who played for Bayern Munich in the past.
