Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Borussia Dortmund do not want to give up on their title dream. The Millionaires have been producing terrific showings under new coach Lucien Favre and thanks to a 2-1 win over Schalke in the Ruhr derby they cemented top position in the Bundesliga standings. Borussia Dortmund are still nine points clear of Bayern Munchen in the table, but Lucien Favre must warn his men against complacency as the season is quite long. The Millionaires are likely to stick to their attacking style of play against Werder Bremen and we predict that they are going to prove their worth on the field. Die Werderaner did well to beat rock-bottom Fortuna Dusseldorf at home at the weekend, but we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Borussia’s party at Signal-Iduna-Park. In their last meeting in Dortmund did Werderaner defeated the Millionaires, meaning that the hosts are hungry for revenge.

Born on 3rd June 1985, Lukasz Piszczek is one of Poland’s most famous footballers at the moment, having made a name for himself thanks to some impressive performances for Borussia Dortmund. The full-back’s talent was spotted early on by Hertha scouts, and it is important to note that he began his career as a striker, winning the top goalscorer award at the Under-19 Euro in 2004.

After returning to the club, the Polish footballer played on the left wing, but then switched to right-back as Arne Friedrich got injured and has played there ever since.
In May 2010, Piszczek signed for Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer and has since developed into one of world’s leading right-sided defenders, sparking interest from clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United.
