Our football match prediction:
Borussia M’gladbach will be looking to make amends for an embarrassing 6-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund when they host Hannover 96 at their Stadion im Borussia-Park on Saturday afternoon. Die Fohlen experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the defeat to Peter Bosz’s troops, but it is well known that they struggle on the travels. Borussia M’gladbach are tough to beat at home and they are definitely capable of grabbing something from Saturday’s football match against die Roten. Hannover aim to extend their unbeaten run in the Bundesliga and they are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence against die Fohlen. A close encounter appears on the horizon and we predict that the two teams are going to play out a low-scoring draw on Matchday 7. It has to be noted that under 2.5 goals have been scored in each of Hannover’s six league games this season.
Highlighted Player (Christoph Kramer):
Christoph Kramer is a German midfielder born in Solingen on 19 February 1991, and he is most famous for helping Germany lift the 2014 World Cup trophy. The defensive midfielder came to prominence after signing for Bayer Leverkusen, but it was the loan spells with VFL Bochum and Borussia M’gladbach that seriously aided his development. Kramer received a surprise call up to Joachim Low’s World Cup squad, and he made a total of three appearances in Brazil, even starting the final against Argentina. The midfielder, however, suffered a concussion just after the half hour mark and he later confessed that he couldn’t remember anything from the most important game in his career. Kramer remained a member of the Germany national team, making three appearances in the Euro 2016 qualifiers, and there is plenty of time for him to represent the country at another major tournament, playing a more important role than the one he had at the 2014 World Cup.
