Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
In the last matchup of round 8, Mönchengladbach are preparing to play Mainz at the Borussia Park stadium. Mönchengladbach are one of the teams sharing 2nd place behind the Dortmund Borussia. They have been in relatively good form, suffering only one defeat in their last six matches, and that was to Hertha. They finished ninth last year and will be looking to at least make one of the Europa League places. Mainz have finished 14th last year and are currently sitting in 8th place, with nine points and eight behind the leaders. In their last six games, Mainz has won only once, recording three draws and two defeats. The last game they won was against Augsburg, a month ago. However, they are travelling to Mönchengladbach with hope of changing their fortunes. And they have a chance since they have conceded by far the least number of goals this season out of all the teams. But they also scored the least, four goals in total. We predict a home win.
