Our football match prediction:
Schalke will be looking to build on a 4-1 win over Wolfsburg when they face Darmstadt at Jonathan-Heimes-Stadion am Bollenfalltor. Die Knappen aim to keep their hopes of booking their place in European competitions alive and we predict that the visitors will go all guns blazing at the rock-bottom team in Sunday’s football game. January signing Guido Burgstaller scored a brace in the triumph over Wolfsburg, meaning that the opposition defenders are likely to have their work cut out for them when facing the former Nurnberg attacker. The Lilywhites extended their losing run to four games at the weekend, with the team suffering a 3-2 defeat to Ingolstadt at Audi-Sportpark. Torsten Frings’ men have little to play for in Sunday’s clash against Schalke and, taking everything into account, we are tempted to put our money on the visitors. It has to be noted that die Knappen recorded a 3-1 win over the Lilywhites in the reversed fixture at Veltins Arena.
Highlighted Player (Aytac Sulu):
Aytac Sulu started his youth career at SV Sandhausen. The German footballer, who was born in Heidelberg on 11 December, 1985 played for the first team of SV Sandhausen in the 2004/2005 season, making 10 appearances for the club. In 2005 he joined Bahlinger and after making just 12 appearances for the club between 2005 and 2007 he signed a contract with Hoffenheim. After ending his spell at Hoffenheim in 2009 he moved to Vfr Aalen and he quickly became the captain of the team.
