Our football match prediction:
Against all odds, Bayern Munich dropped two points in the clash against Koln. Manuel Neuer’s error proved costly for the mighty Bavarians, but despite sharing the spoils with Koln, the title holders remained in top position in the Bundesliga standings. Carlo Ancelotti’s men aim to return to winning ways and, no doubt, the Italian tactician is going to field the best possible side against Eintracht Frankfurt. Die Adler suffered a 1-0 loss to Freiburg on Matchday 6 and they certainly face an uphill task in Saturday’s football game against Bayern Munich. The reigning champions managed to keep a clean sheet in each of their previous eight meetings with Eintracht and we predict that the visitors are going to emerge triumphant in the Commerzbank-Arena clash. Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick for Poland in a 3-2 win over Denmark and he is likely to pose a big threat for the opposition back line.
Highlighted Player (Fabian):
Marco Fabian is a 26-year-old midfielder who plays for German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. This attacking midfielder has started his youth career at Guadalajara before making his senior professional debut with the Mexican club in 2007. Over eight seasons with them, Fabian became a regular and scored more than 50 goals for them. He moved to Eintracht Frankfurt in late 2015. Fabian represented Mexico across various youth levels before finally graduating to the senior team. He earned his first senior cap in 2012 and played his first major tournament with the senior team at the 2013 Gold Cup. He was one of the revelations for Mexico in that tournament with three goals and equal number of assists. Fabian has 25 national caps to his name and six goals to his credit so far. Often regarded for his pace and great long range shots, Fabian has a 2014 FIFA Puskas Award nomination to his credit.
Highlighted Team (Bayern Munich):
Over the years Bayern Munich have established themselves as one of the most successful European clubs. The Stern des Sudens (Star of the South) are the dominant force in German football and it has to be noted that the Bavarians clinched their 26th Bundesliga title in 2016. Bayern Munich have won 18 German Cup trophies, while winning the Champions League (European Cup) five times. The German giants clinched the Intercontinental Cup in 1976 and 2001, while lifting the FIFA Club World Cup trophy in 2013. Bayern Munich was founded in 1900 by eleven football players and their leader was Franz John. The Bavarians host their rivals at Allianz Arena (75,000), the stadium that was built in 2005. Fellow Bavarian sides TSV 1860 Munchen 1860 and Nurnberg are regarded as Bayern Munich’s fiercest rivals, but the rivalry between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern is big as well. The likes of Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Franz Beckenbauer, Lothar Matthaus, Oliver Kahn, Gerd Muller and Giovane Elber are famous footballers who played for Bayern Munich in the past.
