Our football match prediction:
Eintracht Frankfurt have been struggling in front of goal in recent weeks. Die Adler played out a goalless draw with Hoffenheim in their last home fixture in the league and they suffered a 1-0 loss to Wolfsburg at Volkswagen Arena at the weekend. Eintracht dropped to sixth place in the standings, but, taking everything into account, they have been producing fine performances in the first half of the season. The team will be looking to put icing on the cake with a victory over Mainz, but die Nullfunfer should not be written off just yet. Martin Schmidt’s charges outplayed relegation-threatened Hamburger at the weekend and that certainly helped the team regain a much-needed confidence. Mainz put an end to their three-match losing run in the league and they would be happy with one point from Tuesday’s football match against Eintracht. The two teams seem to be evenly matched at the moment and we predict that they will share the spoils on Matchday 16.
