Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Eintracht Frankfurt play host to Paderborn at their Commerzbank-Arena on the last day of the season. Die Adler missed out on a place in the Europa League, but they surely want to finish the season in great manner. Eintracht Frankfurt collected seven points in total from the previous three league fixtures, and given Paderborn’s form in the season finale, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the home team.
A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Dutch attacker Bas Dost, who found the net in a 1-1 draw with Koln at the weekend. Paderborn do not seem to be competitive at this level, and, as a result, they will compete in 2. Bundesliga next term. Seeing that the rock-bottom side are low on confidence ahead of the trip to Frankfurt, home win should definitely be considered.
Highlighted Player (Timothy Chandler):
Timothy Chandler is a professional footballer, who started his senior career at Eintracht Frankfurt reserve team. In 2010 he signed for Nurnberg and he made 17 appearances for the reserve team. After playing 95 league games for Nurnberg he returned to Eintracht Frankfurt on 3 June, 2014, signing a three-year contract with his former club.
Chandler was born in Frankfurt on 29 March, 1990, but seeing that his father is American, the defender decided to play for the USA national football team. Chandler made his USA debut on March, 2011, coming as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Argentina.
The Freiburg defender made USA 2014 World Cup squad, but he did not play for the Yanks at the showpiece tournament in Brazil. It has to be noted that Chandler made 10 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2015/2016 Bundesliga campaign. His main position is right back, but he is capable of playing as a right midfielder and a right winger as well.
Highlighted Team (Paderborn):
Welcoming their rivals at Benteler-Arena, Paderborn are a German club that will compete in the Bundesliga in the 2019/2020 season. The club played their first ever match in the German top flight on August 24, 2019, with the team sharing the spoils with Mainz (2-2) in front of home fans.
Benteler-Arena can hold up to 15,000 spectators and it was opened on July 20, 2008. Paderborn play their home matches in blue and black shirts and black shirts, but white is the dominant colour of their away kit. Until the 1980s TuS Scholls Neuhaus were considered the club’s main rivals are Arminia Bielefeld, with the two teams facing each other in Ostwestfalenderby.
This rivalry was established in the 2008/2009 season when Arminia Bielefeld dropped to the 2. Bundesliga. It has to be noted that Paderborn have yet to represent Germany in European competitions.
