Our football match prediction:
Freiburg impressed in the 2015/2016 2. Bundesliga campaign and they totally deserved to secure promotion to the German top flight. The newcomers, though, failed to impress against Hertha in their opener, with the team suffering a 2-1 loss to the capital club in Berlin. However, it is well known that Freiburg struggle on the travels, but they are certainly capable of making life difficult for Borussia M’gladbach in their first home game of the season. M’gladbach recorded a 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the round 1 derby and they want to give fans yet another reason for celebration before they kick off their Champions League campaign with a game against Manchester City. Nonetheless, die Fohlen are not regarded as good travellers and we predict that Freiburg are capable of picking up one point from Saturday’s football match. A man to watch in the away side will be Raffael, who is eager to open his goal-scoring account.
Highlighted Player (Mensur Mujdza):
Mensur Mujdza is a product of Zagreb’s youth school. Mujzda continued playing for the capital club at senior level and he made 136 league appearances for the Whites. In June, 2009 he signed a contract with Freiburg and he has been playing for the Bundesliga outfit ever since. Mujdza became the vice-captain of the team for the 2015/2016 season. He was born on 28 March, 1984 in the capital of Croatia and, as a result, he played for Croatia U20 and U21 teams in the past. Nonetheless, seeing that his family is from Doboj, Bosnia he decided to play for Bosnian national team at senior level. Mujdza made his Bosnia debut against Qatar on 10 August, 2010. He started the match, but he did not score on his debut for the national team. The Bosnia international is a right back, but he is capable of playing as a right winger as well. Mujdza’s contract with Freiburg expires on 30 June, 2017.
