Our football match prediction:
Despite producing a fine performance in Friday’s football match against Bayern Munich, Freiburg eventually suffered an unlucky 2-1 loss to Carlo Ancelotti’s troops. Robert Lewandowski scored a late winner for the title holders, but Freiburg remained in the top half of the Bundesliga standings. Christian Streich’s team occupy eighth position in the table and they are eyeing their seventh home win of the season. Freiburg are a real force to be reckoned with at home and seeing that Hertha Berlin key attacker Salomon Kalou is on Africa Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast, we predict that the hosts will emerge triumphant in Sunday’s clash. Hertha recorded a 2-1 win over Freiburg in Berlin earlier this season, meaning that Christian Streich’s charges are hungry for revenge. In their last meeting at Schwarzwald-Stadion the two teams played out a 2-2 draw, but we are tempted to put our money on the hosts this time out.
