Our football match prediction:
Mainz are running down a blind alley at the moment. Die Nullfunfer are on a five-game losing run in Bundesliga and their top flight status is in great danger. Mainz have been slipping down the standings week by week, but Saturday’s football game against Hertha could be the turning point for the hosts. Martin Schmidt’s troops were beaten by the likes of Leipzig and Schalke in previous two home games in the German elite division, but seeing that the capital club often struggle on the travels, we predict that Mainz will grab something from Saturday’s match. Hertha recorded a routine 2-0 win over Augsburg in front of home fans at the weekend, but you should bear in mind that Pal Dardai’s troops are on a seven-game losing run in the league ahead of the trip to Mainz. Taking everything into account, share of spoils appears on the horizon.
