Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Mainz have been having their ups and downs in the 2016/2017 Bundesliga campaign. Die Nullfunfer sit in ninth place in the standings ahead of the visit of Ingolstadt and they are desperate to start a new winning run in the national championship. Mainz failed to impress in a 3-0 loss to Schalke at the weekend, but Saturday’s football game against Ingolstadt could be the turning point for Martin Schmidt’s troops. Markus Kauczinski’s men suffered six defeats in previous seven league matches and they are unlikely to spoil Mainz’s party at Opel Arena. Ingolstadt played out a 3-3 draw with Borussia Dortmund in front of home fans, but you should bear in mind that they are on a three-game losing run on the road in the German top flight. In previous two meetings between the two teams Ingolstadt emerged triumphant, meaning that Mainz are hungry to get their revenge on Markus Kauczinski’s troops.

The bigest achievement of the club was on Sunday 17th of May 2015 where the club got promoted to the Bundesliga after beating Red Bull Leipzig and got crowned as the champion of the 2.Bundesliga. The achievements of Ingolstadt are very impressive for a club that is only active since 2004. Currently Ingolstadt doesn’t have any very known players. Manager Ralph-Hasenhuttl does have a legendary status in Ingolstadt being the manager who promoted his club to the Bundesliga.
