Our football match prediction:
Ingolstadt will be looking to put an end to their four-game winless run in Bundesliga when they face Mainz at their Audi-Sportpark on Sunday afternoon. Maik Walpurgis’ men have slim chances of securing the elite division survival, but their pride will be at stake in the remainder of the season. Ingolstadt produced a fine display in a 1-0 loss to star-studded Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 25 and we predict that the relegation-threatened team are going to fight tooth and nail against Mainz. Martin Schmidt’s charges head into Sunday’s football game following back-to-back defeats to the likes of Darmstadt and Schalke and they are desperate to return to winning ways. However, the visitors would be happy with one point from the match as well and we would not be surprised if the two teams share the spoils at Audi-Sportpark. In their last meeting in Ingolstadt the hosts emerged triumphant.
