Our match prediction:
Ingolstadt did well to come from behind and share the spoils with Hamburger in the opening match of the season. Markus Kauczinski’s team were beaten by Nurnberg in a friendly on Thursday, but the boss mixed the squad against the 2. Bundesliga team. Ingolstadt welcome Hertha at their Audi-Sportpark and it remains to be seen if they are capable of recording their first victory of the season. Hertha, on the other hand, recorded a 2-1 win over Freiburg in Berlin and they are high on confidence ahead of the trip to Ingolstadt. The capital club, though, should be happy with point from Saturday’s football match and we predict that the two teams are going to share the spoils at Audi-Sportpark. In previous two meetings between the two sides Hertha emerged triumphant, but it is well known that Ingolstadt are tough to beat on home soil.
