Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
After dropping two points in a 1-1 draw with ten-man Augsburg, Borussia M’gladbach will be looking to return to winning ways in the Bundesliga when they host Schalke 04 at their Stadion in Borussia-Park. Die Fohlen aim to regain their spot in top six, and they are seen as hot favourites to win Saturday’s football match. Important attacker Alassane Plea was quarantined at the weekend, and he is rated doubtful for the Schalke 04 game.
Die Knappen are no longer considered one of the teams to beat in the German top flight. Schalke’s main goal is to secure yet another Bundesliga survival, but they should not be looking for points in away matches against the Champions League-chasing sides. In their last meeting in the Bundesliga die Knappen emerged triumphant, meaning that die Fohlen are hungry for revenge.

Highlighted Player (Christoph Kramer):

Christoph Kramer is a German midfielder born in Solingen on 19 February 1991, and he is most famous for helping Germany lift the 2014 World Cup trophy. The defensive midfielder came to prominence after signing for Bayer Leverkusen, but it was the loan spells with VFL Bochum and Borussia M’gladbach that seriously aided his development.
Kramer received a surprise call up to Joachim Low’s World Cup squad, and he made a total of three appearances in Brazil, even starting the final against Argentina. The midfielder, however, suffered a concussion just after the half hour mark and he later confessed that he couldn’t remember anything from the most important game in his career.
Kramer remained a member of the Germany national team, making three appearances in the Euro 2016 qualifiers, and there is plenty of time for him to represent the country at another major tournament, playing a more important role than the one he had at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Highlighted Team (Schalke):

Schalke 04 are a professional football club founded in 1904. Die Knappen (The Miners) compete in German Bundesliga and they have won seven domestic titles. Schalke have clinched five German Cup trophies as well, while lifting the UEFA Cup title in 1997. The German club defeated Italian side Inter on penalties in the title game and that was the last time the final of the competition was played in a two-legged format.
Schalke 04 play their home matches at Veltins-Arena, the stadium that has been the home of the team since 2001. The capacity of Veltins-Arena is 62,271. It is well known that Borussia Dortmund are Schalke’s main rivals and the Ruhy neighbours face each other in the Revierderby.
The likes of Klaus Fichtel (477), Norbert Nigbur (355), Rolf Russmann (304), Klaus Fischer (295), Olaf Thon (295) and Herbert Lutkebohmert (286) are the players with most appearances for die Knappen. The colour of Schalke’s home kit is blue.
