Our football match prediction:
Despite being regarded as underdogs in Saturday’s football game against title holders Bayern Munich, Schalke did remarkably well to hold Carlo Ancelotti’s men to a 1-1 draw. Die Knappen aim to return to winning ways in the Bundesliga and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach against Hertha Berlin. Schalke sit in 12th place in the standings, but a win over the capital club could see them regain their spot in the top half of the table. Markus Weinzierl’s team are tough to beat at home and we predict that they will find the net against Hertha Berlin. Following back-to-back defeats to the likes of Bayer Leverkusen and Freiburg, the capital club defeated Ingolstadt on Matchday 19 and that certainly gave them a confidence boost. In their last meeting at Veltins-Arena Schalke recorded a 2-1 win over Hertha and there is every chance both teams will find the net in Saturday’s showdown.
