Our match prediction:
Schalke 04 put an end to Stuttgart’s five-game winning streak in the league, but die Roten are certainly happy with the share of spoils at the hands of such a rival. Now they have the opportunity to get back to winning ways against rock-bottom Hannover. The HDI-Arena outfit suffered their eight consecutive loss, and they are most likely to move to the 2. Bundesliga at the end of the season. Thomas Schaaf, who came to Hannover during the winter break, looks simply helpless, as if his team have already surrendered. Die Schwaben, on the other hand, seem determined to fight for one of the European spots, and probably already booked all three points from this clash. And, judging by the miserable form of their next opponents, Jürgen Kramny’s charges were right to do it. We do not expect a spectacle for the fans, but we do predict a certain home win.
