Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Weserstadion will host Sunday’s football game between Werder Bremen and Nurnberg, the two teams who are determined to secure yet another Bundesliga survival. Werder Bremen shared the spoils with Hannover in the opening match of the season, but they did well to beat Eintracht Frankfurt on the road on Matchday 2. Die Werderaner aim to retain their spot in the top half of the Bundesliga standings and they are considered favourites to beat Nurnberg in front of home fans. The newcomers, on the other hand, are eyeing their first win of the season, but we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Werder Bremen’s party at Weserstadion. Nurnberg have been struggling in front of goal at the start of the season, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered. A man to watch in the home side will be Yuya Osako, who found the net in the 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Highlighted Player (Nuri Sahin):

Born in Germany to Turkish parents, Nuri Sahin is a Turkish international midfielder, who hasn’t exactly managed to realise his full potential. The left-footed footballer remains one of the most impressive players to have graduated from the Borussia Dortmund youth academy, and he went on to become a first team regular at Westfalenstadion at the age of 17.
Following a thoroughly impressive loan stint with Feyenoord, Sahin returned to Dortmund, where he enjoyed two more very successful years before signing for Real Madrid. However, it was at that time that his career started taking the wrong turn as he was never able to rediscover his form, and he eventually returned to Borussia following a somewhat disappointing stint at Liverpool.
Sahin is no longer considered a first team regular for either club or country, but he has amassed around 50 appearances for the Turkey national team, and he still has time to get his career back on track.
Highlighted Team (Nurnberg):

FC Nurnberg are a German club which was founded back in May, 1900. Der Ruhmreiche play their home games at Max-Morlock-Stadion, which was both built and opened in 1928. The stadium can hold up to 50,000 spectators, but it has to be noted that the capacity of the venue is 44,308 for international matches.
Nurnberg were the dominant force in German football in 1920s, with the team clinching five trophies during that period (1919/1920, 1920/1921, 1923/1924, 1924/1925, 1926/1927).
The Ruhmreiche won the national championships in 1936, 1948, 1960 and 1968 as well, with the team finishing the season as runners-up on three occasions (1934, 1937, 1962). Speaking of the club’s recent history, Nurnberg did well to win the German Cup in 2007, with the team beating Stuttgart in the title game. Speaking of the club’s European success, it has to be noted that the Bavarians played in the European Cup quarter-finals in 1962. Schalke are considered one of the club’s main rivals.
