Our match prediction:
The Galician derby between Celta Vigo and Deportivo La Coruna will be in the shadow of El Clasico this time out, but, no doubt, there will be fireworks when the two teams square off against each other at Estadio de Balaidos on Saturday evening. Os Celeste recorded back-to-back wins over the likes of Real Sociedad and Valencia in previous two league matches and the hosts will be aiming to extend their winning run to three games when they face Deportivo La Coruna in the local derby. Thanks to a 2-1 win over Levante los Branquiazuis put an end to their 15-game winless run in all competitions and they head into Saturday’s derby full of confidence. However, seeing that Deportivo are not regarded as good travelers, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of spoiling Celta’s party at “Balaidos”. Eduardo Berizzo can count on his key player Nolito and we predict that he is going to pose a big threat for Victor Sanchez’s team in Saturday’s football clash.
