Our football match prediction:
Barnsley and Rotherham face each other at Oakwell Stadium on Tuesday evening. The Tykes are eyeing a place in the Championship play-offs, while the Wolves aim to move away from the danger zone and an interesting encounter appears on the horizon. Barnsley have been scoring goals for fun at home ground of late and you should have in mind that they netted 2+ goals in each of their last five home fixtures in the English second tier. Wales international Tom Bradshaw has found his goal-scoring touch of late and the opposition defenders should have him at bay. Wolverhampton suffered a 3-1 loss to Norwich City in their last away game in the Championship and seeing that it has been 17 years since the Wolves recorded their last win at Oakwell Stadium, we predict that the hosts will pick up all three points from Tuesday’s football match.
Highlighted Player (Adam Davies):
Adam Davies is a German-born footballer who plays for Championship side Barnsley as a goalkeeper. The 185-cm-tall shoot-stopper began his youth career at Everton and in 2012 he signed a contract with Sheffield Wednesday. However, he never managed to make a first-team appearance for the Owls. He made his debut for the club against Crawley Town in the opening match of the 2014/2015 campaign and he quickly established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper. His contract with Barnsley expires on 30 June, 2017, but the deal could be extended for a further year. Adam Davies conceded 82 goals, while keeping 26 clean sheets in 74 appearances for Barnsley in all competitions.
