Our prediction for this Championship match:
St. Andrew’s Stadium will host Saturday’s football match between Birmingham City and Norwich City, who face each other at the start of the 2018/2019 Championship campaign. Birmingham City secured the survival thanks to a 3-1 win over Fulham on the last day of the season and, no doubt, they want to play a more important role in the English second tier this term. The Blues are tough to beat at home, but the game against Norwich City will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. The Canaries, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs in pre-season, with the team suffering defeats to the likes of Union Berlin and Charlton Athletic, while beating Paderborn and Luton. The likes of Jordan Rhodes and Teemu Pukki joined the club in the summer transfer window and we predict that the duo will lead the Canaries to a win against the Blues.

The Canaries have won two League Cup trophies (1973, 1975) and their main rivals are Ipswich Town. The two teams have been facing each other in the East Anglian Derby since 1902.
The colour of Norwich City’s home kit is yellow and green and that is the main reason why they are known as the Canaries.
