Our prediction for this Championship match:
Neither Birmingham City nor the Queens Park Rangers have started the season well. The Blues are yet to win a game although they were close against Forest, but managed to give away a two goal lead. QPR only managed to do so in their last match, beating Wigan 1:0 and earning their first points of the season. Newly signed Tomar Hemed got the winner and club manager Steve McLaren has sang his praises after the match. This weekend the sides meet at St Andrew’s where Birmingham players will be highly motivated to get a first win of the season in front of the home crowd. The Blues manager, Garry Monk, has signed a few players on loan but feels he needs another player to strengthen his team. He will also be looking for strikers Jutkiewicz and Bogle to get on the score sheet on Saturday. A first win on the season is surely on the cards for Birmingham.

Highlighted Player (Jason Lowe):

Jason Lowe is a Blackburn Rovers midfielder, who was born on 2 September, 1991 in Wigan, Greater Manchester. Lowe plays as a defensive midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a central midfielder and a right back as well. The Blackburn footballer made his senior debut on 28 March 2011 during his loan spell with Oldham Athletic.
He scored his first ever goal against Notts County six days later. Lowe returned to Blackburn Rovers at the end of the 2010/2011 season and he made his first appearance for the Rovers on 24 August 2011 in a victory over Sheffield Wednesday (League Cup). Speaking of his international career, Lowe made England U-19 training camp and he was selected for his national team for the European Under-19 Football Championship finals in July 2010 (Ukraine).
However, he eventually withdrew from the squad through injury. On 10 October, 2011 Lowe made his England U-21 debut in a 2-1 victory over Norway U-21. The two teams faced each other in the Euro 2013 qualifiers.
Highlighted Team (Queens Park Rangers):

Queens Park Rangers are well known as QPR. The capital club was founded in 1886 and Loftus Road Stadium is QPR’s ground. Loftus Road Stadium was opened in 1904 and the capacity of the venue 18,439. However, it has to be noted that no less than 35,353 spectators watched the game between QPR and Leeds on 27 April, 1974.
The Hoops finished the 1975/1976 First Division campaign in second position in the standings, just behind champions Liverpool. This is considered the club’s biggest success, but Queens Park Rangers made it to the FA Cup final in 1982 as well.
QPR were beaten by fellow capital club Tottenham Hotspur in the title game, but they did well to lift the League Cup trophy in 1967. Queens Park’s main rivals are Brentford, Chelsea and Fulham, but other clubs based in London are considered QPR’s rivals as well. The colour of QPR’s shirts is blue and white.
