Our prediction for this Championship match:
Saturday’s football game at Ewood Park pits together Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham City, the two teams who are level on points ahead of Matchday 22. Birmingham City aim to bounce back from a 1-0 home loss to Bristol City and a win over Blackburn will see them move a little closer to the play-offs berth. The Blues are not regarded as good travelers, but it has to be noted that they defeated Millwall at the Den in their last away game in the Championship. The Riversiders, on the other hand, did well to hold Middlesbrough to a draw at Riverside Stadium at the weekend and seeing that they outplayed Sheffield Wednesday in their last home fixture, it is no surprise they are considered favourites to win Saturday’s match. Blackburn recorded three wins in previous four home games and they are definitely capable of beating Birmingham City on home soil.
