Our football match prediction:
Blackburn Rovers’ Championship status will be at stake when they take on Brentford at Griffin Park in their last game of the season. The Riversiders desperately needed a win against Aston Villa at the weekend and they managed to get one. Danny Graham scored the winner ten minutes into the second half, but despite beating the Villans at home, Blackburn remained in the relegation zone. The Riversiders are level on points with Nottingham Forest, who are safe for now, but a big win over Brentford would almost certainly see Tony Mowbray’s men secure the Championship survival. The Bees are on a four-game unbeaten run in the league ahead of the last day of the season, but seeing that they have little to play for in Sunday’s football match, we predict that the away team will win the game as they are desperate to avoid relegation to League One.
