Our football match prediction:
Saturday’s football match at Griffin Park pits together Brentford and Norwich City, the two teams who are sitting in the middle of the Premier League table. The Bees were on the verge of suffering a loss to Cardiff City on Boxing Day, but thanks to Kaikai’s late goal they eventually shared the spoils with the Bluebirds. Brentford aim to move a little closer to the play-offs berth, but Saturday’s game against Norwich City will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. The Canaries kicked off the new season in style, but they suffered a dip in form in October and it has to be noted that the team suffered eight defeats in previous ten league fixtures. Alex Neil’s troops experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-1 loss to Reading at the weekend and we predict that they are going to extend their losing run in the league to three games.
Highligted Player (Josh McEachran):
Josh McEachran is a professional football player who was born on 1 March, 1993. The English footballer plays as central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both attacking and defensive midfielder as well. McEachran is a product of Chelsea youth school, but he made no more than 11 appearances for the senior squad at Stamford Bridge. After spending several seasons on loan at Swansea City, Middlesbrough, Watford, Wigan and Vitesse, he signed a four-year deal with Brentford on 10 July 2015 for an undisclosed fee. Just 15 days later he suffered a fractured foot and, as a result, he was out of contention for three months. McEachran made his Brentford debut on 15 December in a 2-1 win over Reading and he went on to make 14 appearances for the Bees in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign. Josh was born in Kirtlington, Oxfordshire, England, but his parents are Scottish. The Brentford midfielder was in a relationship with English actress Brooke Vincent.
Highlighted Team (Norwich City):
After spending only one season in the Premier League, Norwich City dropped to the Championship at the end of the 2015/2016 campaign. Norwich City are located in Norwich, Norfolk and they welcome their rivals at Carrow Road. The stadium was built and opened in 1935 and the capacity of the venues is 27,137 (all-seater). However the stadium’s record attendance is 43,984. The Canaries have won two League Cup trophies (1973, 1975) and their main rivals are Ipswich Town. The two teams have been facing each other in the East Anglian Derby since 1902. The colour of Norwich City’s home kit is yellow and green and that is the main reason why they are known as the Canaries. The likes of Kevin Keeland, Ian Culverhouse, Steve Bruce, Duncan Forbes, Mark Bowen, Darren Huckerby, Ian Crook, Martin Peters, Darren Eadier, Chris Sutton and Iwan Roberts are notable footballers who played for the Carrow Road outfit in the past.
