Our football match prediction:
The 2017/2018 Championship campaign has been a mixed bag for Brentford and, as a result, they sit in the middle of the standings. The Bees, who failed to score in back-to-back losses to the likes of Norwich City and Derby County, are eight points behind the play-offs berth, thus they are likely to fight tooth and nail against Preston. The Lilywhites head into Saturday's football match following back-to-back wins over the likes of Nottingham Forest and Hull City and they are on a four-game unbeaten run in the Championship ahead of Saturday's football match. The two teams seem to be evenly matched at the moment and despite the fact that Preston have been in a much better form of late than Brentford, there is a big value in betting on draw. Over 3.5 goals have been netted in each of last four meetings between the two teams and yet another high-scoring affair is on the cards.

Highlighted Player (Andreas Bjelland):
Andreas Bjelland is a Danish footballer who plays for Brentford. Bjelland plays at centre back and he started his professional career in 2006. After spending three seasons at Lyngby, Bjelland joined yet another Danish outfit Nordsjaelland in 2009 and he went on to make a total of 72 appearances for the Wild Tigers. On 6 November, 2011, Bjelland signed a four-year deal with Twente but he made no more than 14 appearances for the club on his debut season due to injury. After spending six months on the sidelines with a broken metatarsal, Bjelland returned to contention and he came back fit for the 2013/2014 Eredivisie campaign. The Danish defender played in 33 games for Twente in the 2013/2014 season, while making 26 appearances for the club in his last season (2014/2015) at De Grolsch Veste. On 2 July, 2015, the highly rated centre-back joined Championship side Brentford and he has been playing for the Bees ever since. The Danish footballer, though, suffered a groin injury in pre-season and, as a result, he did not make his Brentford debut in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign.

Highlighted Team (Preston North End):

Preston North End or Preston were founded in 1880. The Lilywhites or the Invincibles play their home games at Deepdale, the stadium that was built in 1875 and opened three years later. In 1889 Preston won their first FA Cup trophy and they did well to beat Huddersfield Town in the final of the 1938 FA Cup final. However, the club’s biggest success came in 1889 and 1890 when they won back-to-back domestic trophies (First Division). Preston have yet to win the League Cup title, but they were runners-up in 1888, 1922, 1937, 1954, 1964. Preston’s main rivals are Blackpool and the two teams square off against each other in the West Lancashire derby. In their first ever meeting in the West Lancashire derby (1901) Preston recorded a 4-1 win over Blackpool. Burnley and Blackburn Rovers are considered Preston’s big rivals as well. The colour of Preston’s shirts is white and they wear dark blue shorts.
