Our prediction for this Championship match:
Saturday’s football game at Griffin Park pits together Brentford and Reading. Brentford aim to build on a thrilling 3-0 win at Wigan Athletic, and they are seen as hot favourites to pick up all three points from the match. Bryan Mbeumo, who scored his 4th goal of the season against Wigan Athletic, will be the man to keep an eye on in the home team. Nonetheless, it has to be noted that the hosts will be without suspended defender Julian Jeanvier against Reading.
The Royals, on the other hand, continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels. Reading outplayed the likes of Millwall and Luton Town in the last two home games in the Championship, but they are on a four-game winless run on the road ahead of the trip to Middlesex. Since the Bees are eager to regain their spot in top six, home win should be considered.

The Royals used to play their home games at Elm Park in the past (1896 - 1998). Reading made it to the FA Cup semi-finals on two occasions (1927, 2015), but they have yet to win the prestigious trophy.

Aldershot Town were considered Reading’s fiercest rivals, but the Shots went out of business in 1992.
