Our football match prediction:
Even though many people expected that Brighton would extend their winning run on Matchday 17, Aston Villa did well to grab one point from Friday’s football game at the American Express Community Stadium. The Seagulls, though, remained in second place in the standings and they are determined to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League. Brighton take on in-form Fulham on Matchday 18 and there is every chance the hosts will extend their goal-scoring run on Saturday afternoon. Brighton are a real force to be reckoned with at home and we predict that they will record their seventh home win of the season in Saturday’s football match. Glen Murray looks unstoppable at the moment and the former Crystal Palace attacker is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders. Fulham have been in a fine form of late, but they are unlikely to spoil Brighton’s party at the American Express Community Stadium.
Highligted Player (Sam Baldock):
Sam Baldock is an English footballer who plays as a striker for Brighton. Baldock was born in Buckingham, England on 15 March 1989 and he began his senior career at Milton Keynes Dons. After spending six years at Stadium mk, Baldock signed a four-year contract with West Ham United on 26 August, 2011. However, after failing to impress in the 2011/2012 campaign, he was sold to Bristol City at the end of the season. Sam Baldock scored 34 goals in 83 appearances for the club and in 2014 he joined his current club Brighton. The English attacker signed for the Seagulls for an undisclosed fee, which was believed to be in the region of £2m. Sam Baldock has a contract with Brighton, which expiries on 30 June, 2018. It has to be noted that he represented England at the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup in Egypt. His main position is centre forward, but he is capable of playing at both left and right back as well.
Highlighted Team (Fulham):
Fulham are a club from London that play in the Championship. The capital club dropped to the English second tier at the end of the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign after failing to impress in the elite competition. Fulham were founded in 1879 and they play their home matches at Craven Cottage. Fulham are the oldest-established club from the English capital to have played in the top flight. Fulham finished the 2008/2009 Premier League campaign in seventh place in the standings and that is considered the team’s biggest success, speaking of their participation in the Premier League. The Cottagers played in the Europa League twice and they did well to reach the FA Cup final in 1975, but they were beaten by their local rivals West Ham United in the title game (0-2). Chelsea are regarded as Fulham’s bitter rivals as well and the two teams take on each other in the North London derby.
