Our prediction for this Championship match:
Bristol City will be looking to make amends for back-to-back defeats to the likes of Cardiff City and Queens Park Rangers when they welcome Blackburn Rovers at their Ashton Gate Stadium on Matchday 14. The Robins sit in sixth position in the Championship standings ahead of the visit of Blackburn and they aim to retain their spot in top six. However, seeing that the hosts have been struggling to find their best form of late, we predict that the Riversiders are going to record their second away of the season. Blackburn Rovers proved their worth in a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest in midweek and thanks to the triumph they escaped the relegation zone. In previous five meetings between the two teams in all competitions 18 goals have been netted and we would not be surprised if both sides find the net in Saturday’s football match at Ashton Gate Stadium.
Highlighted Player (Mark Little):
Mark Little is a right back who plays for Bristol City. Little started his youth career at Wolverhampton Wonderers and he made 27 appearances for the first team as well. He made his Wolves debut on 23 August, 2006 in the League Cup clash against Chesterfield. The defender scored three goals in 148 appearances for the ABAX Stadium outfit, but in 2014 turned down a new contract offer. Mark Little joined Bristol City on 1 July, 2014 and he has been playing for the Robins ever since. The English footballer, who was born on 20 August, 1988 made 23 appearances for Bristol City in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign and he scored one goal for the club. His main position is right back, but he is capable of playing as midfielder as well.
