Our prediction for this Championship match:
Bristol City will be aiming to make amends for back-to-back defeats to the likes of Stoke City and Reading when they host Preston at their Ashton Gate Stadium. The Robins sit in the middle of the Championship standings ahead of the visit of Preston, but they are only four points behind the play-offs berth. Bristol City have been totally unpredictable in the 2018/2019 season, but Saturday’s football match against the Lilywhites could be the turning point for them. Alex Neil’s men made a very slow start to the season, but they have been showing signs of improvement of late. Preston are undefeated in previous six league fixtures and that is the main reason why we predict the visitors are going to hold Bristol City to a draw at Ashton Gate Stadium on day 17 of the new Championship campaign.
