Our football match prediction:
Birmingham City have been producing scintillating displays in the 2016/2017 Championship campaign. The Blues are determined to return to the Premier League, but they need to keep on improving their game if they are to meet the goal. Birmingham City recorded a 4-2 win over rock-bottom Rotherham United in midweek and they are certainly high on confidence ahead of the trip to Burton-upon-Trent. Burton Albion failed to impress in previous two away games in the Championship, with the team playing out a goalless draw with Wigan Athletic at the weekend, while suffering a 2-0 loss to Ipswich Town on Tuesday evening. The newcomers are eager to secure the Championship survival and a win over Birmingham City would see them escape the danger zone. However, seeing that Birmingham City impressed in the victory over Rotherham United, we predict that the Blues are going to record their third away win of the season.
Highligted Player (Damien McCrory):
Damien McCrory is an Irish footballer who plays for Burton Albion. The winger, who is capable of playing as full-back as well, was born on 22 February, 1990 and he began his youth career at Plymouth Argyle. However, he did not make a senior debut for the club as he was sent on loan to Port Vale in 2008 and then to Grimsby Town in 2009. After ending his loan spell with Grimsby Town, Damien McCrory joined Dagenham & Redbridge in February 2010 and he made 76 league appearances for the club. He scored one goal for the club during his spell at Victoria Road and in June 2012 he signed a two-year contract with Burton Albion. The pacey winger scored five goals in 32 appearances for the club in the 2014/2015 campaign and he played no less than 39 games for the Brewers in the 2015/2016 League One campaign. His showings certainly helped the team book their place in the Championship at the end of the season. Speaking of his international career, McCrory made two appearances for Republic of Ireland U18 team and he has three caps for Ireland U19 team.
