Our football match prediction:
Burton Albion will be aiming to make amends for a heavy 4-0 loss to Aston Villa when they welcome Wolverhampton at their Pirelli Stadium on Matchday 11. The Brewers failed to score in previous two league fixtures and it is no surprise they sit in the danger zone in the Championship standings ahead of Saturday’s football match. Burton Albion recorded only one win in last six league games and we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the underdogs. Wolverhampton are determined to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League and they made a flying start to the season. Coach Nuno Espirito Santo has a number of high-profile footballers to choose from and we predict that the Wolves are going to beat the Brewers at Pirelli Stadium. It has to be noted, though, that Wolverhampton are after their first ever win over Burton Albion in a competitive match.
Highligted Player (Damien McCrory):
Damien McCrory is an Irish footballer who plays for Burton Albion. The winger, who is capable of playing as full-back as well, was born on 22 February, 1990 and he began his youth career at Plymouth Argyle. However, he did not make a senior debut for the club as he was sent on loan to Port Vale in 2008 and then to Grimsby Town in 2009. After ending his loan spell with Grimsby Town, Damien McCrory joined Dagenham & Redbridge in February 2010 and he made 76 league appearances for the club. He scored one goal for the club during his spell at Victoria Road and in June 2012 he signed a two-year contract with Burton Albion. The pacey winger scored five goals in 32 appearances for the club in the 2014/2015 campaign and he played no less than 39 games for the Brewers in the 2015/2016 League One campaign. His showings certainly helped the team book their place in the Championship at the end of the season. Speaking of his international career, McCrory made two appearances for Republic of Ireland U18 team and he has three caps for Ireland U19 team.
