Our prediction for this Championship match:
Charlton Athletic will be looking to put an end to their four-game winless run in the Championship when they host Cardiff City at the Valley. The Red Robins obviously struggled a dip in form, and we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the capital club.
The Bluebirds, who aim to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Bristol City, are likely to take advantage of the fact that Charlton are not on top of their game at the moment. In their last meeting at the Valley, the two teams played out a goalless draw, but we are tempted to put our money on the Welsh outfit this time out as they aim to move a little closer to the play-offs berth. It has to be noted, though, that the visitors without Danny Ward, who continues a three-match ban.

Highlighted Player (Jonny Williams):

Jonathan Williams is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Wales National Team and Charlton Athletic. Born on the 9th of October 1993, the Turnbridge local joined Crystal Palace's youth academy in 2002 and after impressive displays with the reserve team, signed a professional contract with the club in 2011.
He made his first professional appearance for the Eagles on the 16th of August, coming on a substitute in a game against Coventry City. Williams then scored his maiden professional goal a month later in a League Cup game against Wigan Athletic. In total, the dynamic midfielder spent eight years at Palace, making 70 appearances in all competitions for the club. He also had loan spells at Ipswich, Nottingham Forest, Milton Keynes Dons, and Sunderland during that time. On the 4th of January, 2019, the 26-year old joined current club Charlton on an initial six-month deal before rejoining them for the 18/19 season.
Internationally, Williams has capped for Wales under-17, under-18, and under-19 teams before progressing to Wales's senior squad on the 3rd of October, 2011. He made his international debut on the 22nd of March, 2013, as a second-half substitute against Scotland.
Highlighted Team (Cardiff):

Cardiff City are a Welsh football club that compete in the English second tier (Championship). In 2009 they moved from Ninian Park to Cardiff City Stadium, the venue that officially holds 33,280 spectators.
The Bluebirds played their first ever Premier League match on 18 August, 2013, but they were beaten by West Ham United (0-2) on their debut in the English top flight. However, a week later Fraizer Campbell (two goals) and Aron Gunnarson helped Cardiff City record their first ever win in the Premier League.
The Bluebirds outplayed Manchester City back then, but they eventually dropped to the Championship at the end of the season. Fellow Welsh outfit Swansea City are considered Cardiff’s fiercest rivals and the two teams take on each other in the South Wales derby.
The colour of Cardiff City’s home kit is blue, whilst they wear red shirts and shorts when playing on the travels.
