Our prediction for this Championship match:
St. Andrew’s Stadium will host Friday’s football game between Coventry City and Birmingham City. The hosts do not seem to be competitive at this level, with the team collecting only 8 points from possible 33, and it has to be noted that they head into the match following back-to-back defeats to Nottingham Forest and Watford. Coventry City will be without injured trio Bartlett – Dabo – Jones against Birmingham City, while Ireland international Shipley has been tested positive for coronavirus.
The Blues, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to Wycombe and Bournemouth. Birmingham City are more of a team than Coventry City, and even though the likes of Clarke-Salter, Clayton, Jeacock, and McEachran are sidelined with injury, away win should be considered. In their last meeting in the English second tier the two teams played out a 1-1 draw.
