Our football match prediction:
Derby County and Ipswich Town face each other in a postponed fixture at iPro Stadium on Tuesday evening. The Rams head into the match following back-to-back wins over the likes of Queens Park Rangers and Middlesbrough and a win over the Tractor Boys should see them cement their spot in top six. Derby County seem to be on top of their game ahead of the visit of Ipswich Town and Czech attacker Matej Vydra has been scoring goals for fun of late. The former Watford man scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 win over Boro and we predict he is going to prove a handful for the opposition defenders in Tuesday’s football game. The Tractor Boys were beaten by Aston Villa at the weekend and seeing that Derby emerged triumphant in their last meeting with Ipswich Town, we are tempted to put our money on Gary Rowett’s troops.
Highlighted Player (Sam Winnall):
Sam Winnall began his professional career at the age of 19. The striker, who was born on 19 January, 1991, made his Wolverhampton debut in May 2009 and he has been playing for a number of English clubs ever since. He was on loan at Burton Albion, Hereford United, Inverness CT and Shrewsbury Town and in the 2013/2014 campaign he signed a contract with Scunthorpe United. Sam Winnall scored 23 goals in 45 appearances for the club and, as a result, secured a lucrative move to Barnsley in 2014. He went on to score his first goal for Barnsley on 23 August 2014 in a 4-1 win over Gillingham. Winnall helped Barnsley eliminate Walsall in the 2015/2016 League One semis as he scored a brace in the first leg. It has to be noted that he scored 23 goals in the English second tier in the 2015/2016 season. He provided 8 assists for his teammates during the season and he finished the campaign as the third highest goalscorer in the league, just behind Nicky Ajose and Will Grigg.
Highlighted Team (Ipswich Town):
Ipswich Town are an English football club that was formed in 1878. Portman Road has been the home ground of Ipswich Town since 1894 and the capacity of the venue, which was expanded in 2002, is 30,311. The Tractor Boys compete in the Championship, but they used to play in the English Premier League in the past as well. Ipswich Town last appeared in the elite division in the 2001/2002 season. Ipswich won the FA Cup in 1978, with the team beating Arsenal (1-0) in the title game. However, the club’s biggest success came in 1981 when they outplayed AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Cup final. It has to be noted that the Tractor Boys have yet to suffer a loss at home ground in the European competitions. Norwich City are regarded as Ipswich Town’s bitterest rivals and it is well known that the two sides take on each other in the East Anglian derby.
