Our prediction for this Championship match:
Derby will be looking to put an end to their dreadful winless run when they host Barnsley at their Pride Park on Matchday 11. The Rams just can’t find their best form in the first half of the season, but the good news for the hosts is that veteran Wayne Rooney has overcome his injury. The Tykes, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Cardiff City.
Barnsley continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, which is probably the main reason why we predict that the hosts are going to grab something from the match. A close encounter is on the cards at Pride Park, and we are tempted to put our money on draw. Jordan Ibe is injured for the hosts, while Brittain, Palmer, Williams, and Woodrow are out of contention for the visitors.

Highlighted Player (Wayne Rooney):

Over the years Wayne Rooney has established himself as one of the best English players. “Wazza” was born on 24 October, 1985 and he has played for only two clubs in his senior career. He began his football career at Everton and he scored 15 goals in 67 appearances for the Goodison Park outfit.
In 2004 Rooney signed a £25-million-worth deal with Manchester United and he has been playing for the Red Devils ever since. The England attacker won the Champions League trophy with Man Utd in 2008, with the Old Trafford outfit defeating Chelsea on penalties in the title game. The Manchester United attacker has won five Premier League trophies with the English giants (2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009, 2010/2011, 2012/2013), while lifting FA Cup title in the 2015/2016 season.
Nonetheless, Rooney, has yet to win a trophy with England national team. The 30-year-old ace failed to impress at the Euro 2016 final as he scored no more than one goal (penalty) at the showpiece tournament in France.
Highlighted Team (Barnsley):

Barnsley are an English club nicknamed the Tykes. The club was founded in 1887 and it has to be noted that they spend more seasons in the Championship than any other club in the history. The Tykes played in the Sheffield and District League from 1890, but in 1895 they were part of the Midland League. Barnsley play their home games at Oakwell, the stadium that was built in 1887.
The capacity of the stadium is 23,009 and it was opened back in 1888, just one year after the club’s foundation. The Tykes made it to the FA Cup final in 1910, but Newcastle United proved to be a big catch for the Oakwell outfit in the title game.
Nonetheless, Barnsley won the FA cup trophy in 1912 and that is considered the club’s biggest success. Barnsley defeated West Bromwich Albion in the two-legged tie (0-0, 1-0) to clinch the prestigious trophy for the first and only time in their history.
