Our football match prediction:
Thanks to a come-from-behind win over Nottingham Forest Huddersfield Town extended their winning run in the Championship to four games. The Terriers seem to be on top of their game ahead of upcoming festive fixtures and, no doubt, the confidence is soaring at the John Smith’s Stadium. Huddersfield sit in fourth place in the standings, but the team’s main goal is to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League. David Wagner’s men need to keep on raising their form if they are to finish the season in top two and with Blackburn Rovers next, we predict that the hosts will extend their winning run in the English second tier. The Riversiders suffered a 2-0 loss to Barnsley on Boxing Day and seeing that they are on a four-match losing run in the Championship, away win should not be considered in this one. You should know that Blackburn Rovers conceded 2+ goals in each of their last four league fixtures.
