Our football match prediction:
Huddersfield Town head into the last match of the season with the lack of motivation. The Terriers have already booked their place in the Championship play-offs and we predict that coach David Wagner is going to rest his first-team regulars in Sunday’s football match against Cardiff City. Anyhow, players who will be deployed in the starting line-up will certainly give their best to grab something from the match and we believe that the hosts will find the net on Matchday 46. Cardiff City, on the other hand, managed to secure the Championship survival, but they will certainly have bigger ambitions for the 2017/2018 season. Anyhow, they are eager to give fans some cheer in the season finale and the Welsh outfit are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Sunday’s clash at the John Smith’s Stadium. Taking everything into account, a lively contest appears on the cards.
Highlighted Player (Jason Davidson):
Jason Davidson is an Australian international who plays for Huddersfield Town. The pacey left back started his youth career at Seiritsu Gakuen and in 2009 he joined Pacos de Ferreira. Davidson made his senior debut at Hume City in 2009, but he left the club later that year. He returned to Pacos de Ferreira in September, 2009, but he made no more than 5 appearances for the club in the 2009/2010 Primeira Liga campaign. Jason Davidson was voted 2009 Victorian Premier League – U 21 player of the Year and during that period Stuttgart, Sporting CP and Ankaragucu scouts spotted him. However, after ending his loan spell with Sporting Covilha, he joined Heracles Amelo in January, 2012. The Australian player, who was born on 29 June 1991, scored 2 goals in 51 league appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit and in August 2014 he signed a contract with Premier League side West Bromwich Albion. Nonetheless, he played no more than two league games for the Baggies as the club announced his release in May 2015. Huddersfield Town chiefs decided to sign a three-year deal with Donaldson on 26 June 2015 and it has to be noted that he scored one goal in 27 appearences for the club in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign.
Highlighted Team (Cardiff City):
Cardiff City are a Welsh football club that compete in the English second tier (Championship). In 2009 they moved from Ninian Park to Cardiff City Stadium, the venue that officially holds 33,280 spectators. The Bluebirds played their first ever Premier League match on 18 August, 2013, but they were beaten by West Ham United (0-2) on their debut in the English top flight. However, a week later Fraizer Campbell (two goals) and Aron Gunnarson helped Cardiff City record their first ever win in the Premier League. The Bluebirds outplayed Manchester City back then, but they eventually dropped to the Championship at the end of the season. Fellow Welsh outfit Swansea City are considered Cardiff’s fiercest rivals and the two teams take on each other in the South Wales derby. The colour of Cardiff City’s home kit is blue, whilst they wear red shirts and shorts when playing on the travels.
