Our football match prediction:
Leeds United have been having their ups and downs in the 2016/2017 Championship season. The Whites are on a six-game winning run at their Elland Road, but their showings on the travels leave a lot to be desired. Leeds suffered a 2-1 loss to Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium at the weekend and, as things stand now, Garry Monk’s troops are unlikely to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League. The team sit in the play-offs berth ahead of the visit of Cardiff City and it remains to be seen if they are capable of keeping their seventh consecutive clean sheet at home ground. The Bluebirds suffered a 1-0 loss to Norwich City in their last league fixture, but the Welsh outfit are on the right track to secure the Championship survival, which seems to be the team’s main goal in the 2016/2017 season. Anyhow, Cardiff City face an uphill task in Saturday’s football match against Leeds United and we predict that the hosts will extend their winning run at their Elland Road.

Highlighted Team (Cardiff City):
Cardiff City are a Welsh football club that compete in the English second tier (Championship). In 2009 they moved from Ninian Park to Cardiff City Stadium, the venue that officially holds 33,280 spectators. The Bluebirds played their first ever Premier League match on 18 August, 2013, but they were beaten by West Ham United (0-2) on their debut in the English top flight. However, a week later Fraizer Campbell (two goals) and Aron Gunnarson helped Cardiff City record their first ever win in the Premier League. The Bluebirds outplayed Manchester City back then, but they eventually dropped to the Championship at the end of the season. Fellow Welsh outfit Swansea City are considered Cardiff’s fiercest rivals and the two teams take on each other in the South Wales derby. The colour of Cardiff City’s home kit is blue, whilst they wear red shirts and shorts when playing on the travels.
