Our football match prediction:
Following four consecutive wins in the Championship, Leeds United suffered a 1-0 defeat to Millwall at the Den in their last league fixture. The Whites, though, remained in top position in the standings and they will be looking to return to winning ways when they host Ipswich Town at their Elland Road in what is expected to be one of the most entertaining games of Saturday’s program. Thomas Christiansen’s charges are eyeing their third consecutive win on home soil and they are definitely capable of beating the Tractor Boys in front of home fans. Key attacker Chris Wood left the club in the summer transfer window and in his absence a man to watch in the home team will be new signing Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who has already netted two goals in the 2017/2018 Championship campaign. Ipswich Town did well to beat rock-bottom Bolton at the weekend, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in Saturday’s football match against Leeds.
Highlighted Player (Vurnon Anita):
Vurnon Anita is yet another product of famous Ajax youth football academy. The defensive midfielder made a great progress during his spell with the Eredivisie outfit as he played for the first team from 2006 to 2012. During the 2011/2012 season Anita was on Newcastle United’s radar, but Ajax chiefs rejected Newcastle’s first bid for the player. Nonetheless, the two clubs eventually came to an agreement and the Dutch footballer moved to St. James’ Park in the summer of 2012. Vurnon Anita signed for the Magpies for a fee of £6.7 million and he made his Newcastle debut on August 18, 2012 in a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the opening game of the season. After making 133 appearances in the league for the Magpies, Anita joined Leeds United on July 6, 2017, signing a three-year deal with the Championship club. Vurnon Anita made his debut for Netherlands in a 2-1 win over Mexico in May, 2010. His main position is defensive midfield, but he can play as a full-back as well.

Highlighted Team (Ipswich Town):

Ipswich Town are an English football club that was formed in 1878. Portman Road has been the home ground of Ipswich Town since 1894 and the capacity of the venue, which was expanded in 2002, is 30,311. The Tractor Boys compete in the Championship, but they used to play in the English Premier League in the past as well. Ipswich Town last appeared in the elite division in the 2001/2002 season. Ipswich won the FA Cup in 1978, with the team beating Arsenal (1-0) in the title game. However, the club’s biggest success came in 1981 when they outplayed AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Cup final. It has to be noted that the Tractor Boys have yet to suffer a loss at home ground in the European competitions. Norwich City are regarded as Ipswich Town’s bitterest rivals and it is well known that the two sides take on each other in the East Anglian derby.
